Since COMEX made decision regarding the integrated management system have only passed two months. The decision was made during this year's Labelexpo 2013 fair. Since then, the first stage of implementation was completed, which included an in-depth analysis of COMEX business and production processes. The implementation includes the complete integrated MIS|ERP system, namely, sales management and estimates, production management and scheduling, stocks and purchases. COMEX puts great emphasis on quality control of all production processes of complex labels and raw materials, as well as all the semi-manufactured and finished products. Therefore, the improvement of this section is one of the system implementation goals.
Sistrade PLC Data Collection module is also being implemented. Thus, a dozen machines shall be directly connected to the system using PLC controllers. The aim is to improve, already complicated, multi-stage production process of labels (peel & read, booklet, RFID cards and labels) and to get the precise information on the production cost of the finished product.
The implementation of the international GS1 logistics and identification standard will facilitate contact with many business partners, thereby increasing COMEX market share in the international market.
