MAKE AN ESTIMATE FOR LABELS IN 10 STEPS

1- GENERAL ESTIMATE DATA
Estimate header includes all the customer data, the corresponding CRM information, product and quantity information and estimate request’s generic details. Once this information is entered, the user can elaborate an estimate and automatically start an internal workflow. During this stage, the user can also manage all the documents relevant to the process and create versions of an existing estimate.

2- SELECT INKS/STAMPING/SILKSCREEN
Define which Pantone, CMYK colours, stamping, silkscreen, varnishing and gluing should be used and where, front or back, or on support/liner to produce the label. View the consumption and cost value of a selected colour, based on the consumed gram per m2 and price per kg. The time and waste in setup are considered by the system and the user can group references/signatures according to one’s needs.

3- MANAGE DIE-CUTTERS
Manage all in-house die-cutters. Create and check technical die-cutter parameters, namely, number of labels and space between labels in width and in feed length, optionally, the radius of curvature of the corners and a die-cutter image can be added. Default die-cutter types can be set for each customer, however, they can be changed while estimating.

4- PRINTING, STAMPING, SILKSCREEN AND DIE-CUTTER APPLICATION
Sistrade® ERP software automatically validates possible machines and suggests a machine for the process (printing/stamping/silkscreen and die-cutter application), however, the user can select any other valid machine. Possibility to have multiple printing stages. Representations of imposition and cutting plan are generated for each selected combination of machine and cylinder. Printing and stamping cylinders, plate and die-cutting format and space between labels are all calculated automatically. The user sets the job difficulty and manages the stamping inline or as an extra process. The stamping imposition plan, time and cost, stamping film, number of reels and diameter are calculated automatically.

5- SCENARIOS SIMULATION
Possibility to calculate scenarios based on a combination of machine and die-cutting type, resulting in multiple valid process scenarios. The system calculates and displays all the possible scenarios and costs according to the machine and cylinder. The system presents all the combination scenarios results from the lowest to the higher cost, allowing the user to choose any of them.

6- TOOLS AND MATERIALS
Possibility to include extra materials required for the process, displaying quantities, unit price and total amount required for the job, organized by the process. Additionally, a set of tools, which are not incorporated in the final product, can be selected as required to perform the job.

7- EXTRA OPERATIONS (PREPRESS, INSPECTION, FINISHING)
The elaboration of a product is based on the calculation of the printing area but the system can also calculate all other operations for extra processes, such as prepress, rewinding/inspection, finishing and shipment. For each operation, there is a pre-suggested value resulting from formulas applied to the data, so that system is able to automatically calculate the estimated cost and time.

8- ESTIMATE COST SUMMARY
Check the detailed estimate cost that takes into account the general cost of components and their setup, printing cost and the costs of all the stages. The job costs are grouped by manufacturing stage and the detailed cost analysis includes outsourced phases and other materials or services the cost of which is not incorporated in the final product. Multiple margins can be applied, such as the commercial margin and the margins from other intervenient entities, as well the definition of default margins. Finally, the system presents financial indicators.

9- ADDITIONAL QUANTITIES SIMULATION
Save time and effort when obtaining a new quotation request for a repetition job with different quantities. For such situations, the user does not need to elaborate the detailed estimate again. The estimate is made for one base quantity and then simulated for multiple extra quantities.

10- ESTIMATE INTERNAL WORKFLOW
Analyse the estimate’s status and details, edit margins and verify competitor’s data entered into the system before sending it to the client.
